Do you enjoy different cheese today than 5-10 years ago?

Oh absolutely yes!!! Once upon a time, I was strictly cheddar (that's all my parents bought) Once I became an adult, the experimentation began!

Which ones?

My favorite has to be Jarlsberg, Emmenthaler......but I also love Harvarti, and my ultimate favorite soft cheese? Ricotta of course!

Do you enjoy different cheese today than 5-10 years ago?

Absolutely. Cheese has become the snack of choice in our household. It's convenient and nutritious.

What caused the shift?

We relocated to a small village with a great delicatessen and an awesome cheese selection. As we have aged, we have become more conscious of our food choices, specifically the food we snack on between meals.

Do you enjoy different cheese today than 5-10 years ago? Which ones?

You bet! I like nearly all the cheeses except those with veining. But I especially like the cheeses that are soft. The butter cheeses are a particular favourite. And I just LOVE Ricotta.

What caused the shift?

When I was growing up, all I was exposed to at home were Velveeta, yellow/orange cheese slices and Cheese Whiz. That was the only kind I liked. When I 'met' the real world of cheese, it took me quite a while to develop a taste for them, but I really do prefer them.

Do you enjoy different cheese today than 5-10 years ago?

Yes. As I get older, I am more adventurous and try different cheeses rather than the traditional parmesan and cheddar--especially lower fat varieties.

What caused the shift?

More attention to health issues.

Do you enjoy different cheese today than 5-10 years ago?

As a child I hated anything that had cheese in it. Cheese tasted like soap to me and that lasted until I was 18. My passion with cheese started with the grilled cheese sandwich and as each year rolled over I began to love more and more of the different cheeses on the market. Today my taste in cheese is different then 5-10 years ago and in a year my favorite cheese will probably change.

Which ones?

Blue cheese, Asiago, Parmesan,

What caused the shift?

I believe that as you age your palate becomes more refined and you begin to enjoy the stronger flavours of the world.
